Drifting through time and space I didn't know how much I needed a black and white sensor till I started using one. And no, it's not always the same as desaturating an image. Especially in scenes like this it captures details the main camera smushes out. More than all that though, there is something about b&w that captures the mood of a place without all the distraction of a colour palette. Caught in the act I love it when I cannot hear any cars around. Especially when I'm in the middle of a city. Sometimes in life, not having a view is the feature. The snow was falling so heavily, the wind was blowing my hoodie off and the visibility was 20 meters or so. The jet ski ride up to this point was like being in a roller coaster with your eyes held shut, but what a ride it was! This was from our first day at Gulmarg. We were taking in the snow blanketed landscape and decide to step out for a stroll; if you can call it that. We were essentially struggling to walk in snow and ice and trying to make sense of what is a path and what is a mound of snow. Then comes along this dog, who stayed ahead of us through out that evening guiding us through safe paths and away from any danger. He took us through some beautiful trails and open snow fields. Engaging in the only kind of fight couples should be having 🤪 The craziest part of this snow trek was when when the snow below my feet collapsed and I was waist deep in it. Thankfully I could easily crawl out of it, while @agranikumar and me could laugh it off like maniacs. 10/10 would do it again 😅 Does every photo need a philosophical caption?
